03.04.13 Lucky

I really struggled with today's word. I understand the reasoning by the prompt.... it is March. St. Patrick's Day is coming up. We think of Leprechauns, a pot of gold and rainbows. But I think luck is an attitude. You can make your own luck with the right way of thinking... if you think like O'Tigger.

Do you feel lucky? People who consider themselves lucky usually are. Positive thinkers are always confident and enthusiastic. Like Tigger! He's very sure of himself and his abilities.

He also loves to take risks. People who consider themselves lucky take more chances. They are more willing to jump right in (or bounce, as Tiggers do). Tune out the negative voice and follow your gut

Don't let failure get you down. One trait of lucky people is that they don't let setbacks set them back. If something doesn't work out, ask what you have learned and keep moving on. Roadblocks are not the end, they are part of the journey.

Be willing to alter your routine. Change is good. Tigger has a go-with-the-flow attitude. Taking a step out of the ordinary is a great way to find fortune.

So think like O'Tigger, and make your own luck.
