It was supposed to be the hottest day on record today. Temperatures were expected to soar well above 100. I think the actual high was 107.  Crazy hot and a perfect day for some pool volleyball!

Today was our friends Ric and Jes's annual pool party, so that's where we spent the afternoon. We all had a blast!

I was so happy that today's photo a day prompt was garden because Ric and Jes have the perfect setting. Their house is surrounded by woods and gorgeous plants.  

By the time I took my photos, the clouds had started rolling in. We actually got some much needed rain. Today was one day when we didn't mind it raining at a pool party!
