I just discovered this very cool app called
Color Splash Effect for my Android phone (it's available for you iPhone lovers also). It converts your photos to grey and then you select the color details with a swipe of your finger. It's that easy! You can then upload the picture to Instagram and use their filters for an even more brilliant photo. Here's an example.

Coloring just the flag really emphasizes the purpose of the photo drawing your eye to it. And the grass is so brown from the heat now anyway, so why not make it grey.
I know I'm going to have fun with this. The creative possibilities are endless!!!
